Welcome to the House of Help, Hempstead

We are a Food Pantry and Thrift Store located at 716 1st St, Hempstead, Tx 77445. We’re on the corner of 1st St and 1488 by the Faith United Church.

Please call ahead for volunteer opportunities. We are a very small operation with space constraints, planning your activities ahead of time helps us better assist you to maximize your hours. Thank you for your understanding.

Our office hours are Tuesday-Saturday 10am-3pm and we can be reached at 979-826-4445. For after-hour inquiries, please text us at 936-727-6749 and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

After planning your hours, please print and fill out the following form to bring along with you at the start of your volunteer day. This form only needs to be filled out once per individual volunteer. No printer? No problem. Forms can still be filled out on the day of volunteer service at our location. Thank you.
